ETAssist | Refund Policy
Effective Date: 11 September 2026
1 General Rule
Token purchases are final and are ordinarily non-cancellable and non-refundable after successful credit to the User Account because the purchase provides immediate access to digital functionality. This rule applies to unused Tokens as well as used Tokens, subject to the specific exceptions in this Policy and mandatory law.
2 Exceptions
A refund, reversal or Token restoration may be processed where: (a) the User was charged but Tokens were not delivered; (b) a verified duplicate or erroneous charge occurred; (c) a payment-gateway/system anomaly caused a charge without the corresponding transaction benefit; (d) an ETAssist-side technical error caused a Token to be deducted without delivery of the requested service, in which case the Token may be restored; or (e) applicable law requires a refund or other remedy.
3 No Refund for Change of Mind or Non-Use
No refund is ordinarily available merely because the User changes their mind, does not use Tokens, no longer requires the Service, purchases an incorrect package after the Token purchase has been successfully completed, or considers a validly delivered Educational Content result unsuitable, provided the Service has been supplied in accordance with the disclosed functionality and no mandatory consumer right applies.
4 Failed Delivery
If payment is successful but Tokens do not appear in the Account, the User should contact ETAssist promptly. ETAssist may verify the transaction through Order ID, Payment ID, Account records and payment-provider records. If the failure is confirmed, ETAssist may credit the missing Tokens or refund/reverse the transaction as appropriate.
5 Duplicate / Erroneous Charges
Verified duplicate or erroneous charges will be corrected through the original payment method or other lawful mechanism. If corresponding Tokens were not delivered or used, the erroneous amount will ordinarily be refunded or reversed in full.
6 Refund Requests and Evidence
Requests should be sent to easyteachassist@gmail.com and, where available, include the registered email address, Order ID or Payment ID, transaction date, amount, payment receipt and a description of the issue. ETAssist may request additional information reasonably necessary to verify the transaction and prevent fraud.
7 Verification and Timing
ETAssist may compare payment records, Account records, Token credit/usage records and system logs to verify the request. An approved refund will ordinarily be initiated through the original payment method or applicable payment provider. The final time for crediting funds may depend on the payment provider or bank.
8 Chargebacks and Unauthorised Transactions
If a User does not recognise a transaction, the User should promptly notify ETAssist and the relevant bank or payment provider. ETAssist may investigate the transaction. A User must not obtain double recovery by receiving both an ETAssist refund and a chargeback for the same transaction; ETAssist reserves the right to recover or reverse duplicate credits to the extent permitted by law.
9 Statutory Rights
Nothing in this Policy excludes or limits any consumer right, statutory remedy or refund entitlement that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted. Mandatory law prevails over any inconsistent term.
10 Changes
This Policy may be updated prospectively. The version displayed at the time of purchase will generally govern that purchase, subject to mandatory law and any rights that have already accrued.
